铬刚玉简介
铬刚玉呈粉红色，硬度与白刚玉近似，韧性比白刚玉高。用铬刚玉制造的磨具，耐用度好，磨加工光洁度高。适用于量具、机床主轴、仪表零件、螺纹工件及样板磨等精密磨削。铬刚玉是以冶金级铬绿和工业氧化铝为原料，以在2000以上高温条件下发生化学反应，而获得高级铬刚玉。产品具有较好的高温热化稳定性，耐冲刷性，抗侵蚀性和耐磨性。
铬刚玉浇注料用于球顶及锥底，浇注料和砖相比具有以下优点：无灰缝，即整体性好。施工方便，特别是复杂结构的施工，方便快捷、省工、省时、省力。浇注料的抗气体侵蚀性强，同时由于体积密度大于2.95g/cm3，使浇注料具有很好的气密性。
铬刚玉生产工艺
铬刚玉的冶炼工艺与白刚玉相同，只是在冶炼过程中加入一定量的氧化铬，呈浅紫色或玫瑰色。铬刚玉中由于引入Cr3+改善了磨料的韧性，其韧性较白刚玉高，而硬度与白刚玉相近，用于加工韧性较大的材料时，其加工效率比白刚玉高，并且工件表面的光洁度也较好，铬刚玉适应于加工韧性高的淬火刚、合金刚、精密量具及仪表零件等光洁度要求较高的工件。

铬刚玉用途
1、铬刚玉呈粉红色、硬度高、韧性高、纯度高、自锐性优、磨削力强、发热量小、效率高、耐酸碱腐蚀、耐高温、热稳定性好等特点。
2、理想的喷砂，适用于五金、玻璃、锌合金、铝合金、不锈刚、高碳刚、高速刚等喷砂处理。尤其是喷薄壁工件效果明显，工件不变色，加工光洁度高。
3、对硅片、光学镜头 、精密仪器仪表、抛光玻壳、玻璃器皿、陶瓷石料、皮革、 塑料、金属机件能提高光洁度。
